OVIS Statistics for Sept 2019 - Data Recorded Crosses 5 Million
OVIS - the Volunteers Cross Participation Tracking service of Inforcom Technologies Pvt. Lts., Ahmedabad, India reaches a benchmark number of 5 Million unique records of healthy volunteers participation at Indian CROs. The records contain the eligibility statistics of the participation in the Clinical Studies across the country.
OVIS is a national tracking system for the human volunteers activities from 19 cities of 9 states of India. There are over 60 CRO facilities who test the volunteer for their eligibility daily. OVIS offers the eligibility criteria for each volunteer. This service has become a part of compliance by the audit agencies.
Out of 5 million male and female volunteers tested, over 1.8 million volunteers were not eligible ! These volunteer can end up having medical issues and drug reaction too, if selected for a study. The extrem case can be a death ! OVIS offers a shield for the volunteers health.
